BIBLIOGRAPHIC COLLECTION

Library

The library unit (previously called precolumbian studies) building is about to have its 30th birthday. This work was executed thanks to the sponsorship of Edubanco, the Banco Continental Foundation for the Development of Education and Culture, with the objective that this be the repository of all the bibliographic material produced by the archaeological and anthropological research carried out in Peru. Today it also houses the library of the old National History Museum.

The library collection has publications from the 16th century to the latest publications on archaeological, historical, anthropological and other themes of the social sciences. Also one can consult the important section of field reports of archaeological investigations carried out all over our territory.
