COLLECTIONS The collections of the MNAAHP are composed of ceramic, textile, lithic, organic, and metallic objects and human remains corresponding to prehispanic times; objects corresponding to the Colonial and Republican periods; and written, graphic and digital documentation from books of scientific value related to the objects. The national system of museums has regulations for handling movable national patrimony, which regulates all aspects inherent to research, conservation, registration, temporary absence, moving of archaeological replicas and samples for specialized analysis and use of images of movable patrimony.
