HISTORY COLLECTION Department of History The Department of History is in charge of research, registration and cataloguing the historical collection through the database, which assigns codes and characteristics to each item identified up until now, allowing easy access to the collections and control of the their movement inside and outside of the MNAAHP. Presently the area of history is carrying out iconographic and documentary studies of the series of the viceroys which the museum has, in addition to gathering information on the context of museum's arms collection which presents specimens from different periods including the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.
